This holiday season we will be collecting items for the SOVA Community Food and Resource Program, part of JFSLA. SOVA provides free groceries and an array of supportive services to over 9,000 individuals of all ages, ethnicities and religions each month. Bring your non-perishable, non-glass, non-expired, donations to church on Sundays for the rest of the year.
Greatest needs: Peanut butter, rice, canned tuna/fish, canned meats (beef stew, chili w/ meat, chicken, etc), canned or dry soup, whole grain cereals.
Other items: Dry beans, dry pasta, dry milk, oatmeal, tomato sauce, canned beans, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cooking oil, diapers/wipes, other personal care items, and new or lightly used children’s books.
